About me

Marko Janjušević was born on August 1, 1990, in Nikšić, Montenegro. He graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje in 2014. His artistic journey began through comics, graffiti, and street art, influences that continue to shape the unique visual language of his work today.
Although primarily dedicated to drawing as his core medium, Marko’s creative expression spans multiple disciplines. He has realized numerous projects in various artistic fields, working both locally and internationally. His body of work includes drawings, paintings, illustrations, video art, and music, and he has exhibited and presented his art through numerous solo and group exhibitions in the region and abroad.
In addition to his visual art, Marko is a professional tattoo artist and the owner of “Manitu,” a tattoo studio and art shop where he merges fine art with the craft of tattooing, transforming skin into living canvases.
Under the pseudonyms “Janjo” and “Pas Manit,” Marko is also active as a vocalist, producer, and lyricist in several music projects. He is best known as the founder, frontman, and creative force behind the music project and band “Manitou,” through which he explores sound as an extension of his artistic vision.
Marko’s work, whether on paper, canvas, skin, or in music, reflects a bold, contemporary aesthetic infused with the raw energy and storytelling spirit of urban culture.
